Dr. Hart attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate studies where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He then obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Baylor University.

After working with General Motors as a Project Manger for several years, Dr. Hart then attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine & psychiatry residency at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

During his career, Dr. Hart has treated patients in a variety of settings including acute care hospital units, consultation and liaison psychiatry, and now outpatient psychiatry. His interests include: depression; anxiety; bipolar disorder; psychotic disorders; medication management; PTSD & GLBT related issues.

He received the Red Sash Award from the University of South Alabama medical student classes of 2011, 2013, 2014 & 2015.

He also received the University of South Alabama Psychiatry Residency Program Faculty Teacher of the Year Award in 2013.
